Under Armour Men's Storm ColdGear Infrared Dobson Softshell Jacket - Windproof & Water-Resistant Winter Coat for Running, Hiking & Outdoor Activities

I've had three of these coats over the last five years and love them. The first was lost to a motorcycle accident, and the second is too big for me now (was an XL), so I just ordered a large (L).#3 is a just as good as ever - great for all midwest weather with proper layering (recommend a hoodie or sweater underneath for winter days)My only complaint is the jacket no longer features the Magnetic Zipper, which was a great feature, it now has a standard zipper.I wear this jacket all winter. It's a lot warmer than it looks. With some layering on the coldest of days, I can get through the winter in the Mid-Atlantic area with this serving as my go-to jacket. Yet, it's light enough that it's still comfortable in the fall and spring as well. I'm 5'10", 175 lb and the large fits perfectly.The flaws are the neck and hood...they're just...awkward. This would be a pretty good cycling jacket (I've used it as such a few times)...it cuts the wind and the hood is large enough to EASILY fit over a cycling helmet. Using the hood WITHOUT a helmet on is just awkward. There's just too much hood material...and I have a pretty enormous head. It's a lousy hood. Also, the neck portion (very top of zip up) is great if you're really looking to bundle up and guard your head from a stiff breeze, but the rest of the time, it's too stiff and just annoying (brushing my chin and neck all the time.I'm contemplating getting another jacket of similar design to wear as my go-to light winter jacket and "retiring" this jacket to dedicated winter cycling duty (it's really great for that, honestly).It like nice coatThis was supposed to have a mag zip....but it doesnt. I literally looked for this jacket specifically for the mag zip. Amazon lied.Love the jacket. Little snug but still feels flexible and comfortable. Purchased a M although going up one size most likely look y would not be a bad choice.This is a good jacket. My son loves it and says it is warm even though the weather is pretty cold. The temp in my area goes down to 49 degrees but not sure how it will perform lower than that. The jacket is more a grey in person. The fabric outside of the jacket feels stiff but the inside is soft.It’s okLittle bulky for meGave it to my nephew he is true XL guy))Strange zipperThis is too hot to wear every day. It doesn’t seem to breathe the way Gore-Tex does.
