I really wanted to be happy with this bed, but it came with at least 7 exposed chipped wood/paint! I can still smell a strong odor (of a fresh paint) as if they did a quick painting and wrapped everything to be shipped… As to sturdiness, it does seem ok so far … Overall if I had seen this with this quality I wouldn’t have purchased it … I’ll post pictures when assembling is completeBeing that the bed is so expensive between the cost of the bed and shipping I would have enjoyed for a little better quality control. Multiple roof slats were stuck together and when taking them apart the paint chipped pretty badly and some of the other slots that were not stuck together had paint issues. For the amount of money it was a little disappointing.This bed is so adorable. It is very sturdy and very well made. The directions are not hard to follow and the assembly is not too bad. Make sure you have 2 people building it and you absolutely have to have a drill and the Allen-wrench drill bit or you will be twisting that little Allen-wrench by hand til the end of time. The bed is quite big! It’s Very tall, you’ll need a step ladder to assemble the roof. I would purchase again. We used a bed frame instead of slats. This picture was before it was fully put together.Fairly easy to put together. Sturdy with the bed frame. I would recommend over the slats that are provided.This bed feels sturdy and looks awesome. The only thing that the could provide to make it easier would be a spacer for when you are putting the roof on.A little tricky to assemble with tool given. Once put together it is an amazing bed & feels very durable. My daughter loves it so far!
