I am very weak after 6 years of dialysis. I am unable to roll over in bed, and attempts to sit up prior to getting out of bed frequently resulted in falling to the floor and needing help to get up (HELP! I've fallen and can't get up!"). This trapeze enables me to perform these maneuvers unassisted - very handy when I need to perform bodily functions in the middle of the night.The trapeze came very well packed - no dings of any sort, but it took quite a while to unpack. Once unpacked, however, it assembled in less than 3 minutes with no tools. Since it is not bolted to the floor, it is necessary to control your use accordingly in a very obvious manner to avoid tipping. Apparently some users are annoyed that they cannot swing from it like a circus trapeze. A sensible person can use it from the very beginning with no danger of tipping - it is very heavy duty and stable within its' rated limitation.I weigh more than the 250 pound limit. It works ok, but lifts off floorI was happy to find this at a more reasonable price than other sellers. Though it is shaky and noisy but that might be my own floor maybe it is unleveled (hardwood). I would buy this product again but hope they improve the handle. User felt supported and able to sit up with this aid.easy it install....easy to useApparatus was just too flimsy. The frame (stand) wobbled too much and I was concerned that my wife could end up on the floor with this steel bed lift laying on top of her.The unit base is too small to make it stable, it will tint sideways or forward/backward with little force. There is a poor fit of the vertical bar to the base adding a lot of wobbling, making it feel unsteady. Not worth the cost.
