My 3yo sleeps on top and my almost 2yo sleeps on the bottom. At first I was worried about them being too little for a bunk bed but i haven’t had any issues during the few months we’ve had it. The kids love the slide. My husband assembled it himself in about 2 hours but he is pretty handy. Overall very sturdy and a good purchase!Fairly easy to assemble, definitely a 2 person job. My kids barely use the slide but they love the bed. I have 2 boys and they jump from the top to the bottom bed.This is a super cute bunk bed. Directions are easy to follow, but you definitely will need to people at least to assemble. Don't get discouraged about all the pieces. Once you get the sides up you are pretty much donewe were exited to surprise our kid, but during assembly one of the joint got cracked.i wish if i could get replacementWe bought this bunkbed for my daughter's birthday. We decided to wait on putting it up until her actual birthday, while she was in school. Things would have gone so much more smoothly, had all the pieces been correct. It took us entirely too long to come to the conclusion that it wasn't us doing anything wrong with the first few pieces, but that we were sent the exact same piece, where one was supposed to have been the opposite. This meant that no matter how we tried rearranging those four initial pieces, there was always one piece that would not line up right with the other, as far as the holes for the wooden dowels and hardware goes. Since we didn't want our daughter to be disappointed upon her return home, we forced it to work. Also, if you're not extremely careful when it comes to tightening all of the hardware up, then it's incredibly easy to make the wood splinter. It's a beautiful bed besides what I've already mentioned is wrong with it. Luckily the problem corner of the bed is hidden, since that corner is mostly hidden by being in one corner of her room.It was a lot to put together but it is worth it! I gave it 4 out of 5 because pole for the roof is bent and you cant unbend it without it breakingI hired someone to build the bed. They informed me there is 1 missing piece from the manufacturer box. That piece is 1 of the 4 28" supports that hold up the top 75" topo for the canopy. Everything else is fine. Your thoughts?Added in headlineMy husband put this together with no issues. Instructions were clear and there were no missing items. Our three year old and five year old are so excited. Great purchase! Can’t wait to finish our move to see how well the bed brings everything together.
